Each Themeforest License is a single-use license (one-time purchase) and comes with 6 months of support period (or 12 months if you purchase a support extension), and you will have free access to all future updates of the item for free. After your support period expires you can renew it if you want to get support.

1 License = 1 Website Creation

The Themeforest license requires 1 Regular/Extended license for each 1 end product for yourself or for one client on 1 website, therefore installing and using the theme on different websites/domains will require a license for each website/domain.

Below you can find details about the Regular and Extended License and things you can/can’t do.

Themeforest Regular License

Things you can do:

Each one Regular license allows you to create 1 End Product (for yourself or for 1 client) for 1 website creation only.
  • You can install the theme on one subdomain/subdirectory (of the main website) using the same license for staging/development purposes related to the main website.

Note: installing and activating the theme on multiple domains at the same time (localhost is considered as a domain) will require a separate license for each domain since the license activation system works per domain.

  • Using the theme on a Subdomain/Subdirectory to create another website is not allowed. An exception is made for a single website installed on a subdomain or subdirectory only if it is directly related to and part of the main website, and shares the same identity as the end product. Otherwise, a separate license is required for each subdomain or subdirectory website.

For example: the main website is a company website and the subdomain is a landing page website for that company main website.

  • Also using a Subdomain/Subdirectory to develop different websites for clients is strictly prohibited, each website should have its own license and the license should be purchased before starting the project.

For example: it’s strictly prohibited to develop demo websites for clients without having a license for each website.

Any license violation will result in terminating your license and disabling the access to our products and services.
The Regular License grants you, the purchaser, an ongoing, non-exclusive, worldwide license to make use of Essentials WordPress theme.

Things you can’t do:

You can’t use the theme on multiple websites (1 license = 1 website creation).
You can’t Sell the End Product.
