Activate Elementor Flexbox Containers

New Elementor demo content (released in Essentials Version 4 and later) is built using Elementor Flexbox Containers instead of the older Sections/Columns structure. To import these newer demos, you must enable Containers in the Elementor plugin on your website.

How to Enable Elementor Containers

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Elementor > Settings.

  2. Open the Features tab.

  3. Find Container (Flexbox Container) and set it to Active.

  4. Click Save Changes.

Good to know

If you already have an existing website, after enabling Elementor Containers, your existing pages built with Sections, Columns, and Inner Sections will continue to work normally and remain fully editable. You can use Flexbox Containers for new layouts, and Sections and Containers can coexist on the same site (even on the same page). Creating new Sections directly will not be possible, but you may duplicate an existing Section or save it to your Template Library and import/edit it as needed if your design requires it.
