If you faced the following error message:
First please make sure that the Theme and pixfort core plugin are updated to the latest version.
To enable updates for Essentials theme, you can check this article from our knowledge base:
If the issue persisted after updating the theme and pixfort core plugin, please make sure that the theme is activated properly on your site, to do this please check your website domain (where you faced the error message) from the URL bar in your browser:
After that login to your pixfort hub account and make sure that your website domain (where you faced the error message) is listed in your pixfort hub dashboard as the same domain where the license is activated (or it’s a subdomain/subdirectory of the license domain):
If your website domain (where you faced the error message) doesn’t match any of the licenses domains listed in your pixfort hub dashboard (and not a subdomain/subdirectory of any of your licenses domains), this means that the license is not activated on that domain yet for one of the following cases:
- The site was migrated from an old domain (for example a staging domain) which is still showing in your pixfort hub dashboard, in this case please check this knowledge base article to deactivate the license from the old domain then reactivate it on the new one:
Note: if Essentials dashboard is showing that the theme is activated (because of the Database migration to the new site) please click on the “Deactivate theme” button then refresh the page and click on “Activate theme” button to activate the theme properly on the new domain.
- The theme is not activated on the new domain yet (where you are facing the error message), to solve the issue please go to Essentials dashboard and click on “Activate theme” button.
Otherwise, if you are still facing the issue please contact us after logging in to your pixfort hub account with your website login information and our team will be happy to help!
